Course Length- 3hrs

Course Location- VTG Training Range @ the Gun Warehouse and Range,

                           1105 Industry Rd, Lexington, KY 40505

Class Time: 10 AM to 1 PM

*This course will also be taught on a weekday from 5 until 8pm

The Ladies Defensive Handgun Course will contain:

 This course is going to focus on training you to identify a potential threat, gaining control of the situation, and armed defense. This is the perfect course for anyone, regardless of your experience, who would like to learn what to do to defend yourself against an attack.

 *Carry Methods- What is the best way for you carry, what caliber should you consider, what should you look for in a defensive handgun.

  *Defensive Presentation- developing the skills needed when the attack is upon you  and you must defend yourself

 *Defense Firing- shot placement, multiple shots, how to stop the attacker

 *Defensive Movement- Evade, Advance, Cover, Clearing

 *Defensive Shooting Techniques- Reactive, Proactive Targets, First Strike Attacks, Posture Presentation.

 *Situational Awareness- What is Situational Awareness, Increasing my Awareness Level, How to be more mentally prepared, How to assess the situation and respond as needed.

• It is recommended that you have some or all of the following equipment for the course. if you do not currently own and firearm, will be be happy to provide you with one for use during the course, you will be responsible for the ammunition.
• Handgun ( one can be provided for you)
• 2 Magazines ( can be provided for you, if available)
  
• 200 Rounds of Ammunition
• Equipment and Ammunition is available for purchase on site @ the Gun Warehouse   and Range

*IF WE DO NOT HAVE A COURSE SCHEDULED

We can also conduct any of our courses for groups or individuals that cannot attend one of our scheduled classes, these will be taught in a “One on One” environment based on the schedules group or individual and the availability of our Professional Cadre. We will break the course into the appropriate increments based on your schedule to ensure all course skill development is taught.
