I encourage anyone wanting to become a more proficient shooter; take the opportunity and train with Tony at the Velocity Training Group. Tony creates an atmosphere conducive to increasing ones abilities and becoming more competent with a handgun. Come prepared to put rounds down range, training is geared around practical reinforcement. At the end of the day, one leaves more capable and several hundred rounds lighter. When back in Kentucky, I make it a point and schedule time with Tony. Each training session exceeds my expectations; I leave with sharpened fundamentals and new skills to put in the shooting tool bag. Tony’s experience, knowledge, and high level of professionalism are reflected in his dedication to pass these on and see his students become better shooters.

I am a novice at shooting. I've had three lessons with Tony so far and I am encouraged to continue to learn to handle and shoot safely and
accurately. Each time he encourages me and offers suggestions on how to improve aim, accuracy and confidence. I plan to continue and
qualify for my conceal and carry license. I highly recommend Tony as an
instructor.2012-04-25 Marilyn G

After my first 2hr session with Tony I reduced my draw & split times drastically. I am very impressed with his handgun instruction and teaching skills. I look forward to continuing my training with Tony and reaching my goals. If you are someone inexperienced or experienced Velocity Training Group is the place to develop your skills and reach your goals in a friendly atmosphere . I highly recommend Tony.

He provides constructive and positive feedback for encouragement. I've been shhoting handguns for many years, but even my grips was all wrong (like choking a snake). He noticeably improved my accuracy and consistecy just with correcting my grip to proper positioning and alignment. Then he showed me how to shoot with improved accuracy at various distances, moving towards and away from a target and the beginnings of shooting a competition course. His teaching far exceeded my expectations, If you want to learn quickly and correctly, then sign up to work with Tony. I drove all the way from Northwest of Chicago to come to The Gun Warehouse and to take lessons with Velocity Training Group. I would like to come back, after practicing what I learned, for more in depth lessons with Tony. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate Tony at a 10 as a professional firearms instructor. Only sign up with Tony if you want the best. Thanks for a very positive learning experience.|

Earlier this year I had Tony work with my daughter getting her started in USPSA. She learned alot had a great time and is looking foward to starting back when school is out. Last week I had the opportunity to attend group session that my employer sponsored. Tony did a AWESOME!!!!! job. Everyone learned alot and had a great time doing so. Tony's style of teaching keep's your attention and doesn't get boreing. If your just getting started or wanting to improve Tony and Velocity training group is the only way to go.|

Tony gave us exceptional instruction on proper shooting techniques and always gave encouraging feedback. My wife and I are looking forward to spending more training time with Tony. If you are a novice at shooting, individual training with Tony is the way to go.|
|2011-10-13 Brett O...||Tony is a fantastic instructor. Although I have been involved in shooting since I was a kid, I was very new to competitive handgun shooting. In our initial meeting, Tony and I talked about my needs and wants and he designed a training program that was ideal for me. Although I may never be the shooter that I would like to be, I found that the 8 weeks of training I had with Tony made me a more confident shooter and my Alpha hits on target increased significantly. I look forward to training with Tony again soon.|
|2011-10-07 Yancey H...||My first exposure to Tony was at a group training session. He not only brought inexperienced people up to speed by the end of the course when I thought it was a hopeless venture, he recognized the strengths and weaknesses in people like myself and helped move them forward. Since then I have spent several hours of one on one training with Tony and learn more every time. I've been shooting for a long time but realized very quickly the difference between handling a gun safely and SHOOTING once I started training with Tony. If you are a novice I can highly recommend one of the beginner classes. If you want to move beyond basic gun handling then schedule sone one on one time with an instructor like Tony P. If you own a gun it will be money well spent.|
