Course Length- 3hrs

Course Location- VTG Training Range, Gun Warehouse and Range, Lexington, KY 40505

Class Time: 10 AM to 1 PM

Our Ladies Only Level 1 Handgun Course is designed with considerations for our female students in mind. With a Ladies Only format, we create an environment that may be more comfortable for students. This course is designed for the beginner to novice level shooter. Format is structured around gaining necessary skills and overcoming fears in students that are just beginning to enjoy or would like to enjoy handgun shooting.

We conduct these courses in a one day format but can break the course into a two day format for groups as needed.

The Following Focus Areas are the Terminal Learning Objectives for the Course

1-Firearm Characteristics and Caliber Considerations

2-Equipment Considerations and Characteristics

3-Fundamentals of Marksmanship

4-Timed Pairs/Shot Cadence

5- Effective Target Engagement

6- Efficient Reloading

• For each of our Courses( Except Introduction to Handgun/Tactical Rifle), it is recommended that you have the following equipment. We can also provide a firearm for you to use in the course. The student will be responsible for the ammunition.
• Handgun or Revolver( We can provide)
• 2 Magazines ( Unless a Revolver) ( We can provide)
• 200 rounds of ammunition

* Ammunition and Additional Course Equipment is available for purchase @ the Gun Warehouse and Range

*Rental Equipment is available based on request for $20.00

*WE WILL TAKE BREAKS DURING THE COURSE. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU BRING BOTTLED WATER

 *IF WE DO NOT HAVE A COURSE SCHEDULED

We can also conduct any of our courses for groups or individuals that cannot attend one of our scheduled classes, these will be taught in a “One on One” environment based on the schedules group or individual and the availability of our Professional Cadre We will break the course into the appropriate increments based on your schedule to ensure all course skill development is taught.
