Course Length- 1.5 hrs ( One on One), 3 hrs ( Group)

Course Fee- Group Rate Applies to 10 or more Students

                   Private Rate applies to 1 to 2 Students

Course Location- VTG Training Range, Gun Warehouse and Range,

                         1105 Industry Road, Lexington, KY 40505

*EACH STUDENT WILL NEED TO CONTACT VTG UPON PURCHASE TO SCHEDULE YOUR LESSON

Our Level 1 Handgun Training will teach you the basic fundamentals with a focus on gun skill development. This Lesson is designed to provide you the necessary skills and training outline to make you a Good Pistol Shooter. As with all of our training, we teach you how to practice and further develop the skills we teach to retain this ability.

The following Focus areas are the Learning Objectives for the training

1-Firearm Characteristics and Caliber Considerations

2- Fundamentals of Marksmanship

3- Single and Multiple shot delivery

4- Stationary and Mobile Shooting Positions

5- Effective Target Engagement

6- Efficient Reloading

 

  • For each of our training sessions it is recommended that you have the following : 
  • Handgun or Revolver ( Can be provided)
  • 2  magazines( Unless a Revolver) ( Can be provided)
  • 200 Rounds of Ammunition
  • Equipment and Ammunition is available for purchase on site @ the Gun Warehouse   and Range
  • * For an additional $15.00,  we can provide any of the equipment you will need for the course on request.

* Ammunition and Additional Course Equipment is available for purchase at the Gun Warehouse and Range.

 

* WE WILL TAKE BREAKS DURING THE LESSON. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU BRING BOTTLED WATER.

2012-04-30 ADAM F... Tony is an excellent instructor! I came in knowing very little about handgun's and left with a ton of knowledge and skills that I can practice for months and years to come. I was apprehensive about the course going in, but now I can honestly say that this was the first of many others.
2012-04-29 William G... Just completed the course Saturday and I had a blast. I have been shooting for a number of years and now I know how to do it right! I highly recommend this course to anyone just starting out or to someone that’s been at it for a while. I plan on completing the other handgun courses when I get time. The only complaint I had was with the website; it wouldn’t allow me to pay. I even tried different computers so I am pretty sure it’s the website. See ya on the range.

2011-10-15 Richard N... Tony Pignato has the unique ability to communicate & give instruction while teaching from his professional experience. As he teaches proper technique, he always enforces it with practical application, leaving no doubt in my mind, "why it needs to be done this way". Having completed 2 courses with Tony, I will continue to seek his instruction.
2011-10-13 Paul J... This course was very informative and down to the point. Tony Pignato , instructor, did a super job in presentation, instruction and working with all of us on a one to one scale. We covered a lot of material , a lot of instruction and then went to the range to practice what we had covered in the class. It was great to shoot around 400 rounds ! I would definately recommend this class, I already have to my shooting friends and I am planning on taking more myself when my schedule allows.
